We've just completed:
- Organising the inaugural Design Out Crime Conference, iDOC'09
- Two research projects relating to design and crime prevention on transport systems
- A project investigating best practice in design and planning for crime reduction in pedestrian accessways
- Some research investigating Australian educational and professional awareness of Design Out Crime in Design practice.
- Setting up and running the first of the Australian National Design Out Crime Awards(see, www.docawards.org).
We've other design Out Crime research ongoing and some new innovations. A particularly interesting problem at the moment is designing the appropriate size for military design teams.
